We established a scholarship/externship award to support second and third year Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine students at the Texas A&M University School of Veterinary Medicine who demonstrate a strong commitment to small animal clinical excellence, professional growth, and compassionate client communication. EXTERNSHIPS
Gain experience in all aspects of practice
Texas Group One is seeking students that are enthusiastic participants to work alongside our doctors and team members. We value quality medicine, successful business principles, honest and compassionate work ethics, accountability, and the rewards of a quality family life. Our practices provide an environment of mentorship in medical and surgical skills, as well as business management and pathways to practice ownership. We involve externs in all aspects of small animal veterinary business and challenge students to develop their problem-solving and technical skills while encouraging questions and case discussions. Broaden your education with an experience at a Texas Group One practice in Frisco, Ovilla, Deer Park, League City, Galveston, Cedar Park, Magnolia, or Round Rock. All colleges are welcome; stipends are sometimes available for students.
